As part of Black History month, a special exhibit in the foreign language hallway of the Lower School features accomplished French-speaking men and women of black descent from around the world. Each week of February has had a different theme: politicians, artists and entertainers, writers and poets; and this last week, athletes. Some of the many countries represented by people in this exhibit are: France, Canada, Belgium, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Martinique, Cameroon, Senegal, Djbouti, Mali, Burundi, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, and Seychelles.
