Quels Artistes!

Lower School French Club made miniature paintings of Paris monuments in the Pointilism style of French painter Georges Seurat. Each student chose a subject, sketched out a design, and very carefully created a beautiful mini masterpiece. Paintings are on display across from the French classroom.

Today's Lower School French Club was all about crêpes. Members made their own recipe card for crêpes, made crêpe batter to take home, and ate a variety of delicious crêpes filled with chocolate, cheese, turkey, sugar and lemon, and jam. Merci à Madame Bofill-Polsky for her expertise in crêpe making and to Mrs. Whitman for helping Madame Cooke supervise the batter making. Nice work chefs!

Alouette Artists

Alouette, gentille Alouette. Alouette, je te plumerai. ... Seventh Agers sang a beautiful rendition of this well-known French song in class today and then created their own Alouette bird to take home. Ask a Seventh Ager you know to sing this fun song for you!
